Jasmine Bullock, a Philadelphia native, is the Senior Manager of Youth Programs at the Franklin Institute. Bullock primarily works with the Partnerships for Achieving Careers in Technology and Science (PACTS) Program, a year-round youth leadership experience designed to involve students as an integral part of The Franklin Institute. PACTS provides a combinations of science enrichment, career development, mentoring, and leadership opportunities to diverse school-aged students in the Philadelphia region. Jasmine also manages the Franklin Ambassador Program, developing and delivering youth development and science curricula that guides students to be science communicators in their communities. Jasmine lives by the motto “to whom much is given, much is required.” Throughout her undergrad career, Jasmine volunteered at an after-school program in Orangeburg, South Carolina where she used her experiences from WINS to conduct science workshops with elementary and middle school aged children. She is currently an active member of Tau Gamma Delta Sorority, Inc. where she holds both local and national offices. Jasmine is also a board member for the West Park Cultural Center. In the future, Jasmine plans to continue to inspire youth to reach their goals through the sciences in both formal and community spaces.
